Mr. Kiyoung Ko

Mr. Ko holds a Ph.D. in Technology Policy from Yonsei University and a Master’s degree in Management Science from Stanford University. Prior to his appointment as the Director of the Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT), Mr. Ko was a Senior Vice President and Head of Office at Korea Telecom. Mr. Ko has engaged in technology business development and resource mobilization in overseas ICT projects and conducted research on ICT and technology policy for sustainable development.  He actively contributed to regional cooperation initiatives, including ESCAP’s Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway and various regional capacity building programmes, including ITU CoE and APT.
